Animalintex® Poultice Pad or Hoof Pad

Animalintex Poultice is made from 100% cotton wool with a non-woven covering on one side and a plastic backing on the other for moisture retention.  The poultice pad contains a mild antiseptic (boric acid) to promote faster healing plus Tragacanth, a natural poultice agent. It's ideal for cuts, wounds, abscesses, inflammation, skin disorders and hoof conditions.

Uses:

Hot poultice: abscess, boils, infected and dirty wounds, cracked heels, thorns, laminitis, seedy toe, corns

Cold poultice: strains, sprains, sore shins, splints, bruises, capped hocks and elbows

Dry dressing: over open wounds, pressure padding

Dressings should be covered with Gamgee padding for extra warmth and protection and then overwrapped with 3M Vetrap Bandaging Tape to hold in place.

Pre-cut hoof shape (3 pack) or 8 in. x 16 in. pad (can be cut to any shape)
